Simple, safe and quick-acting where microbiologically unsafe clear water requires disinfection. An essential item for travellers to avoid contaminated water for brushing teeth or drinking, cooking or washing, Micropur Forte MF 1T tablets are ideal for solo use or small groups of people consuming water while camping, travelling and hiking.
Disinfects clear water and keeps it germ-free for up to 6 months. The chlorine cleans the bacteria from the water, while the added silver removes the taste and smell from the chemicals. Due to the strong oxidizing power of chlorine, most protozoa and fungi are eliminated as well as bacteria and viruses after 30 minutes of contact, however contact time for giardia is 120 minutes. Suitable for plastic or glass.
For use with clear, non-cloudy water, as suspended matter can weaken the effect of chlorine and silver ions. Use a Microfilter for cloudy water.
NB: Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
